£300 donation to Canine Partners
Browns Natural Pet Store business owner Rob Brown presented a cheque to Jan Mason, Canine Partners Community Volunteer, for £300 recently at their Ferring store.
Browns Natural Pet Store have been fundraising for Canine Partners for the last 3 years now but with the pandemic the last few years have made fundraising particularly challenging. The figure of £300 was raised through a combination of store collection pots, raffles, in store events before the pandemic such as our puppy parties and breed specific meet ups and some wonderful contributions from our amazing supporters.
“We are thrilled to have raised £300 for Canine Partners. They provide such an important role in transforming the lives of people with physical disabilities by partnering them with assistance dogs. Because of the pandemic, the figure is not quite as much as we wanted to raise but under the circumstances we are still proud of this achievement. A special thank you to all our customers who have made this donation possible.”
Gemma Tupper, Community Engagement Officer at Canine Partners commented:
“We are so grateful that Brown’s Natural Pet Store chose to support Canine Partners over the last year. Their donation will allow us to continue to support our partners at a time when they need it most, as they are facing uncertainty with greater isolation and health concerns. In these circumstances, a canine partner is a real lifeline. We give a huge thanks to all the team and customers for their support over what has been a really difficult year.”
