Itchy dog day in Ferring!

We are delighted to announce that Kate Bendix, the founder of will be visiting our new Ferring store on Saturday 24th November at 5pm to talk about itchy dogs and why they itch: Parasites, grass and pollens, diet and stress. Kate will examine various foods, treats and natural parasite treatment and herbal worming and how that works as well identifying a whole host of other useful pollen and stress issues that can arise during your dogs life.

Taken from Kate’s website:

“Hi, I’m Kate. I’m an ex BBC TV producer, journalist, writer, pet owner, and animal lover. For a few years at the BBC, I made food and science based programmes, among other things, and I’ve always been interested in what goes into our human food and the interaction between conventional and alternative medicines and therapies. So why should it be any different with our pets? As far as I’m concerned, vets, healthy food, and natural treatments for dogs and cats that work can all rub along together quite nicely.”

Kate is a really inspiring lady and has a wealth of fabulous products on her website, including some amazing treats with Neem in them. She will be in store from 12pm the same day offering you the chance to try her tasty duck sausages and slices which we currently sell in store.

Pop down to Ferring between midday and 5pm to test run them and see what your dog thinks!
