What makes Naturaw so special?
When it comes to doing things naturally, no detail is spared at Naturaw! Naturaw is a small family run company with a dedicated raw kitchen in rural North Yorkshire. They work closely with local farmers, gamekeepers, and butchers to ensure only the best quality ingredients go into their foods and their food miles remain low. All the meat is sourced in the UK.
So what ingredients are in there?
The balanced minces conform to the prey model of raw feeding, or in other words, what they would likely eat in the wild. This means 80% meat, 10% bone, and 10% offal. Naturaw also offer a “simply” range if you’re a DIY raw feeder, wanting to vary the weekly diet or you’re trying an elimination diet for allergies. All the meat Naturaw use is human grade (except green tripe!) and from British farms, and only ever organic or free range. Never will you see any grains, cheap fillers, or chemical additives in their foods.
What about the packaging?
Naturaw are committed to using sustainable and renewable sources, and their packaging is completely plastic free! Their tubs are made from sugarcane pulp, a by-product of the sugar production industry. It’s food safe, GMO free, and fully biodegradable, so can go in your household waste or compost bins. The labels are made from sustainably sourced card and printed with vegetable (soya) based ink. They are also very clear and helpful, especially to those new to raw feeding- all the ingredients are broken down into percentages, so you know exactly what’s in there. Naturaw has also said goodbye – and good riddance! – to polystyrene boxes and is all shipped in cardboard boxes with wool insulation, which Browns then pack up and return to be reused!
