A SIMPLE SOAK AND FREEZE TRICK FOR HOT SUMMER WALKS

Warm weather walks can take their toll on dogs long before the lead even leaves the hook. The Rosewood Cooling Neckerchief is designed to soak up cold water, or freeze for an even stronger effect, thanks to an absorbent foam core that holds onto that chill for longer. Adjustable ties keep it secure across a range of neck sizes, so it stays exactly where it's needed throughout the walk.

Why it's a great choice

  • Soak or freeze, the choice is yours: Simply soak in cold water for a quick cooling boost, or freeze beforehand for a stronger, longer-lasting chill on particularly hot days.

  • Absorbent foam core: An inner foam layer holds water and cold more effectively than fabric alone, extending the cooling effect well beyond a quick splash.

  • Adjustable for a secure fit: Ties can be loosened or tightened to suit a wide range of neck sizes, keeping the neckerchief comfortably in place during play or walks.

  • A playful blueberry ice cream print: A cheerful summer-themed design that looks the part while doing the practical job of keeping your dog comfortable.

Key benefits for your Dog

  • Helps regulate body temperature: Cooling around the neck targets one of the more effective areas for taking the heat off a warm-weather dog.

  • Supports comfort on walks and at home: Whether out and about or relaxing in the garden, the cooling effect helps dogs stay settled rather than overheated.

  • Quick to prepare, ready when needed: A short soak or freeze is all it takes, making it an easy addition to the routine before any warm-weather outing.

  • Comfortable, secure wear: The adjustable tie design means it won't slip or feel restrictive, even during more active moments.

A practical, easy to use option for keeping dogs comfortable on warm days, whether on a walk or relaxing at home.

What you'll need:
A soft tape measure
A calm dog (treats help!)
A friend to assist (optional, but handy!)

Neckline (Base of Neck):
Wrap the tape measure snugly around the base of your dog’s neck—where the neck meets the shoulders, not where a collar usually sits.

Tip: Think of where a polo shirt collar would naturally sit on your dog. Don’t measure too high.

Tip: Keep the tape snug but not tight. You should be able to slip one or two fingers between the tape and your dog’s body.

Measuring Tips for Best Results:
Keep your dog calm and standing upright. Ask a friend to help and use treats or toys to keep them relaxed.
For fluffy dogs, part or gently press down the fur to get an accurate measurement close to the body.
Measure more than once to make sure your numbers are consistent.
