Rosewood Festive Cardboard Scratcher with Catnip for Cats

THE SCRATCH PAD THAT DOUBLES AS THE BEST BED IN THE HOUSE

There's a reason cats ignore expensive cat furniture in favour of cardboard boxes: the texture, the sound, the way it yields satisfyingly beneath determined claws. The Rosewood Festive Cardboard Scratcher has been designed with this preference in mind, featuring a navy board with gold star detailing, a rounded interior that doubles as a cosy resting space, and a catnip pouch included for sprinkling to encourage that first exploratory scratch. Built to satisfy one of the most fundamental feline behaviours, it's one of the most genuinely useful toys in the Christmas cat range.

Why it's a great choice

• Rounded interior doubles as a bed: The scratcher's design creates a comfortable resting hollow alongside the scratch surface, giving cats a dedicated space to scratch, then immediately settle into for a well-earned nap.

• Catnip pouch included: The catnip pouch can be sprinkled on the scratcher to attract cats to it initially, making the transition from furniture scratching to this designated surface easier.

• Navy and gold star festive design: The seasonal colouring and detailing give this scratcher a premium aesthetic that complements the festive home while serving a practical purpose.

• Satisfying cardboard scratch texture: Corrugated cardboard provides the resistance and sound that cats instinctively seek when scratching, making this scratcher genuinely appealing rather than just decorative.

Key benefits for your Cat

• Essential claw maintenance: Scratching removes worn outer claw sheaths, keeping claws healthy and sharp, and providing the physical satisfaction that prevents cats from seeking other scratching surfaces.

• Furniture protection: A properly positioned, appealing dedicated scratcher is one of the most effective ways to redirect scratching behaviour away from sofas, carpets and other household items.

• Territorial security: Scratching is a marking behaviour that helps cats feel secure in their space, making a scratcher an important part of any indoor cat's environmental enrichment.

• Dual use as resting space: The integrated resting bowl provides cats with a safe, enclosed resting spot alongside the scratch surface, encouraging regular use and positive association.

A festive two-in-one scratch and rest space, for cats who prefer their Christmas gifts to be genuinely useful.
