It has a zip-up back for quick fitting and durable materials designed for high-performance comfort.

Why It's a Great Choice

We love this Motivation Cooling Vest for its targeted full-chest cooling design and its high-absorption fabric, offering a vest that protects the most heat-sensitive areas—the heart and chest muscles—while keeping your dog comfortable during active summer days. The fabric holds twice the moisture of standard terry cloth for extended cooling, the back zip makes fitting quick and fuss-free, and the durable construction is built for high-performance use in dog sports, training, walks, or beach days.

  • High Absorption Fabric – Holds Twice the Moisture of Standard Terry Cloth: The advanced fabric absorbs and holds twice the moisture of ordinary terry cloth, providing extended cooling performance that lasts through long play sessions, training, or walks. Your dog stays cooler for longer.

  • Quick and Easy Use – Soak, Wring, and Wear: Simply soak the vest in cold water, wring out the excess, and put it on your dog. The convenient back zip makes fitting quick, fuss-free, and secure – no struggling with buckles or straps.

  • Ideal for Active Use – Perfect for Dog Sports, Walks, Garden Play & Beach Days: Whether you're training for competition, enjoying a summer walk, playing in the garden, or spending a day at the beach, this cooling vest is designed to keep up with your dog's active lifestyle.

What you'll need:
A soft tape measure
A calm dog (treats help!)
A friend to assist (optional, but handy!)

You will need to measure your dog's back length, neckline and chest girth.

Back length (Base of Neck to Base of Tail):
Start at the base of your dog’s neck—where the neck meets the shoulders, not where a collar usually sits and lay the tape along their spine to the base of their tail. When measuring your dog’s back, always allow for the natural curve of their spine — coats aren’t meant to be drum-tight!

Tip: Make sure the dog is standing, not sitting or lying down. Add 1–2cm for comfort and ease of movement. If your dog is between sizes, it’s usually best to go up a size for a better fit and coverage.

Neckline (Base of Neck):
Wrap the tape measure snugly around the base of your dog’s neck—where the neck meets the shoulders, not where a collar usually sits.

Tip: Think of where a polo shirt collar would naturally sit on your dog. Don’t measure too high.

Chest Girth (Widest Part of Rib Cage):
Find the widest part of your dog’s ribcage—usually just behind the front legs. Wrap the tape measure around this area to get the chest girth.

Tip: Keep the tape snug but not tight. You should be able to slip one or two fingers between the tape and your dog’s body.

Measuring Tips for Best Results:
Keep your dog calm and standing upright. Ask a friend to help and use treats or toys to keep them relaxed.
For fluffy dogs, part or gently press down the fur to get an accurate measurement close to the body.
Measure more than once to make sure your numbers are consistent.
