Dorwest Kelp Seaweed Powder

WHEN YOUR PET'S NOSE STARTS TO FADE WITH THE SEASON

A dog's nose should be dark and even, but for many the winter months bring a visible lightening of pigment on the nose, around the eyes and mouth area, often linked to a shortage of specific minerals, particularly iodine and iron. Dorwest Kelp Seaweed Powder uses Fucus vesiculosus, a deep-sea kelp variety chosen for its exceptionally high mineral and trace element content, sustainably harvested and tested to Dorwest's own quality standards. Sprinkled daily into food, it helps maintain strong coat and skin pigmentation while providing all-round nutritional support throughout the year.

Why it's a great choice

• Fucus vesiculosus, a mineral-rich kelp variety: Not all seaweeds are equal. Fucus vesiculosus is specifically selected for its particularly high iodine and iron content, making it the most effective choice for supporting pigmentation.

• Sustainably harvested from deep-sea sources: All kelp is sourced from sustainable deep-sea locations and tested to Dorwest's own rigorous quality standards before use, ensuring both purity and potency.

• Available in three sizes from 250g to 1.5kg: Suitable for single-pet households and multi-dog kennels alike, with the larger pots offering economy for breeders and those using it as a year-round supplement.

• Can be combined with Elderberry & Nettle Extract: For pets that have already experienced significant pigment loss, many owners use Elderberry & Nettle Extract to help regain pigment before switching to Kelp Seaweed Powder to help maintain it.

Key benefits for your Pet

• Helps maintain coat and skin pigmentation: The naturally high iodine and iron content in Fucus vesiculosus helps maintain strong pigmentation in the nose, eyes and coat, particularly through autumn and winter.

• Supports coat growth: The mineral and trace element profile in Kelp Seaweed Powder supports the body's natural coat growth processes, making it a popular choice to support thickness and condition.

• All-round daily nutritional supplement: Beyond pigmentation, this kelp powder provides all the minerals and trace elements required for normal body function, making it a useful everyday addition to any diet.

• Suitable for dogs and cats of all sizes: Sprinkled directly onto food, it is easy to dose accurately and practical to use daily for any pet from autumn through to spring, or year round.
