Green & Wilds Dasher Teaser Toy With Catnip

A Fun, Festive, Eco-Friendly Toy for Playful Cats

Dasher is one of Santa's most enthusiastic reindeer, and the Green & Wilds Dasher Eco Cat Teaser Toy captures that energy in a compact wool felt character dangling from a 37.5 cm bamboo wood stick, loaded with catnip and ready for action. Designed to trigger the full hunting sequence, the teaser format gives cats the erratic, prey-like movement that encourages stalking, pouncing, and batting in a way that a static toy cannot replicate. Made from wool felt, jute string, and sustainably sourced bamboo wood, with no harmful compounds and fully recyclable materials throughout.

Why it's a great choice

• Catnip filling for maximum engagement: The catnip used in Dasher is a natural, safe herb that reliably heightens a cat's response to play, making them more likely to engage with full commitment and extending the length and intensity of each interactive session.

• Wool felt and jute on a bamboo stick: The toy character is made from wool felt with jute string attachments on a sustainably sourced bamboo wood stick, giving it a natural feel in the hand and a lightweight, responsive swing at the business end that cats respond to instinctively.

• Teaser motion mimics live prey movement: A wand toy on a stick produces the kind of unpredictable, darting movement that most closely resembles small prey in motion, triggering the stalk-chase-pounce sequence that engages cats at an instinctive level rather than just a casual one.

• Natural materials, no synthetic components: Every part of Dasher is made from natural materials produced without any added compound that would harm or be released when chewed, making it safe for cats who mouth and bite the toy during play.

Key benefits for your Cat

• Active teaser play supports physical fitness: Sessions that require jumping, reaching, and repositioning give cats meaningful aerobic exercise, which supports healthy weight management and muscle tone, particularly for cats who spend most of their time indoors.

• Interactive play counteracts boredom and stress: Regular owner-led play sessions reduce the risk of the behavioural problems that follow from chronic boredom or stress in cats, including aggression, urine spraying, and obsessive-compulsive behaviours.

• Stimulates natural hunting instincts mentally and physically: The chase-and-catch structure of teaser play exercises both the body and the mind, keeping cats mentally alert and giving them an outlet for the hunting drive that they cannot exercise naturally indoors.

• Suitable for cats of all ages from 6 months: The catnip response typically develops by around 6 months of age, after which Dasher suits cats at every life stage, from active young adults to older cats who still benefit from regular gentle play.
