EVERY INGREDIENT CHOSEN TO HELP THEM GROW UP RIGHT

A puppy's first food does more than fill their bowl: it builds the immune system, lays digestive foundations, and delivers the vitamins and energy that rapid growth actually demands. Tribal Cold Pressed Puppy Chicken starts with 36% fresh chicken and 35% sweet potato, cold pressed at low temperatures to preserve vitamin content, delivering 25% protein and 12% fat alongside vitamin A at 9,782 IU/kg, vitamin C at 6.4mg/kg, and vitamin B6 at 3.9mg/kg. Grain free, hypoallergenic, and suitable for all breed sizes including large breeds, it is built for the full range of what puppies need to grow up well.

Why it's a great choice

  • 36% fresh chicken for elevated puppy protein:Starting with 36% fresh chicken delivers 25% crude protein, giving growing puppies the amino acid supply needed for rapid muscle development and tissue building during the most demanding growth phase of their lives.

  • Cold pressing preserves natural vitamins intact:Cold pressing at low temperatures retains heat-sensitive vitamins including vitamin C at 6.4mg/kg and B6 at 3.9mg/kg that are largely destroyed during conventional high-heat extrusion, making the nutritional content more accurately reflective of what the puppy receives.

  • Higher fat than the adult formula for puppy energy: At 12% fat, Puppy Chicken provides more dietary energy than the adult chicken formula, supporting the higher caloric demands of puppies who are simultaneously growing, exploring, playing, and building muscle from the day they arrive home.

  • Suitable for all breeds including large and giant breeds:The balanced calcium and phosphorus profile in this recipe makes it appropriate for puppies of all sizes, including large and giant breed puppies where incorrect mineral ratios during development can cause skeletal problems in a group particularly vulnerable to growth-related bone conditions.

Key benefits for your Dog

  • Elevated protein for rapid development:At 25% crude protein from whole fresh chicken, this recipe provides the amino acid supply puppies need for the fast-paced muscle, tissue, and organ development that defines the first year of a dog's life, exceeding the 23% in the adult formula.

  • Natural vitamin C for immune system development: Vitamin C at 6.4mg/kg supports antioxidant defences and immune function in growing puppies at a stage when the immune system is still being shaped, and aids the absorption of iron from the daily diet.

  • Prebiotic FOS for gut microbiome development: Inulin from the recipe acts as a prebiotic FOS, feeding the beneficial bacteria that establish the gut microbiome during early life, an investment in digestive health that has lasting benefits well beyond the puppy months.

  • Grain free from the very beginning:With sweet potato as the primary carbohydrate and no wheat, corn, or grain of any kind, this recipe introduces puppies to clean, grain-free nutrition from their first meal, keeping the ingredient list simple and the diet hypoallergenic throughout early development.

How to Transition to Cold Pressed

Switching your puppy's diet gradually helps prevent digestive upset. Follow this 7-day plan:

Days 1–3:
Introduce cold pressed as a treat, gradually increasing the amount (no more than 10% of their daily intake). If your puppy is on a strict diet, slightly reduce their old food to balance calories.

Days 4–6:
Replace their breakfast with cold pressed (half their daily portion), while still feeding their old food for dinner.

Day 7 Onwards:
Fully transition to 100% cold pressed.

For puppies with sensitive stomachs, extend each phase by 2–3 days for a gentler adjustment.
